I took my daugters there to watch the Thursday night game. They are 18 and 14; no one semed to have a problem with the younger one...

The fear of Smell
Grand opening last night.
I stopped in tonight. I love it!! Finally, a decent place to go close by.
Jason Amy & John are friendly and are headed in the right direction. I figured I'd find one person behind the bar, waiting patrons, cooking, serving tables.....nope. I saw a minimum of 5 people on staff ready to serve you, all wearing Pub shirts.
The decor is sporty / pubbish (yea, I made it up). HD TV's all around, nice, electronically controlled lighting and sound system, very clean. Great atmosphere.
Jason asked me my thoughts and opinion. I feel they are on the right path. He indicated there will be a reasonable dress code (skanks/bums/sluts need not apply).
I sincerely hope this place makes it. Something like it has been needed for a long time and is way overdue.

Oh yeah... just what we need... another snotty, yuppy sports bar around here! We just don't have enough of them! Sheesh!
Good luck to those owners, but statistically yuppy sports bars fold within the first year or two unless they are connected to the big franchises (ie. Applebees, steak houses, etc).
Besides, I'll stay home and enjoy my beverages at a safe place and a reasonable price and that I can chose what is on TV and not some puffy lil person behind the bar.

Yea, St. Marys is LOADED with snotty, yuppy, sports bars. One on every damn corner. Sorry you can't get laid but I'm sure Rosie takes good care of you.
Please do stay home. One less ####### in my way.

When Rivers Edge changed hands, Robin told us we could find her there occasionally.
