Olympic Athletes told to “Keep Their Mouths Closed” while in water because it’s full of poop

IF OLYMPIC athletes’ tolerance levels were not being pushed to the limit already, they’ve now been told to keep their mouths closed.

On top of concerns over substandard Olympic village accommodation, athletes have been warned that Rio’s aquatic sites remain contaminated.

One doctor told The Times that athletes will “literally be swimming in human crap”.

No kidding. With so many reasons not to go, I just don't get it. I guess that gold medal is really worth swimming through chit.

Not the swimmers but the other water related events, sailing etc. But yeah I agree with you. But think about some of those athletes that have spent thousands of hours training for this event. The Olympic Committee should all be removed from responsibility for this screw up.
