This incessant meowing is getting on my nerves big time!!! Kiki and Gidget want to go outside, but they don't like the rain. So they've been #####ing at me all day to make it stop.

Kiki meows at the door. I say, Fine, and open it for her. She pauses at the threshold, then runs upstairs....dismayed to find that it's raining at that door, too.

"Meow."

"Meoooooow!"

"*ahem* MEOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!"

Kiki has cabin fever. She cruises the food dish, sniffs it, walks away. Comes back, sniffs again...meows at the door, meows at Claudia (who is ignoring her), back to the food, again at the door.....

Just a gentle nudge. After 15 minutes outside they will be so happy to be back in they be quiet....and busy cleaning up.

Vrai, do your cats go crazy when its storming? My female cat goes into full poofy-tail mode and runs around the house like her butt is on fire when its storming. The male cat sits at the french doors watching the leavs and rain blowing around emitting a gutteral growl I can't begin to describe.
