After a lengthy search of every liberial media outlet I could think of I could not find a single reference to this "quote". There is no way the libs would not have exploited this "quote" so I am leaning heavily towards calling BS. But, I will give you a chance to provide a verifiable source. No response will be considered as proof of BS.

limblips, Yes it is difficult to believe a knowledgeable person would ask that question. You seem to be a proponent of independent research, just Google the sentence, you may be surprised.

His question was not about the hurricane, it was about the flooding. It may not be the most scientific way to word the question, but to the layman it's a valid question.

Was the flooding caused by rain, river overflow, or storm surge from the ocean?

Pretty simple to understand, unless you are a worthless C&P hack.

I apologize. I have no idea why Google failed to pick it up when I searched. My reason for the search was to get the context surrounding the quote. When I did find it, the context made the quote viable and topical. As stated above, the statement might have been better worded but when read in context it makes sense.
