How did you do the light fixtures, the conduit/pipe to reflector has me baffled,, do these parts just happen to fit together?

How did you do the light fixtures, the conduit/pipe to reflector has me baffled,, do these parts just happen to fit together?

I'll take close up pics and post later this evening. I used conduit and iron NPT pipe for the light, the shades I purchased from an eBay store called Snakehead Vintage. The silver/gray rail in the pic is the track for my garage door.
