This is a new reality show on FOX. Among the creative team is Steven Spielberg. Imagine American Idol, except with film directors instead of singers. The trio of judges are: actress Carrie Fisher and directors Garry Marshall (Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries, Runaway Bride) and Brett Ratner (X-Men: The Last Stand, Rush Hour, Red Dragon).
I thought it was enjoyable. It definitely follows the expected formula for such a program, but, as a huge movie buff, I appreciated what it offered. I hope it catches on.
