Drug Arrest- On July 20, 2020, Cpl. Labanowski responded to the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, for the individual arrested on an outstanding warrant with CDS located on their person. Investigation determined Lena Michelle King, age 27 of Leonardtown, had secreted numerous capsules containing suspected heroin and fentanyl on her person at the time of her initial arrest. The suspected CDS was recovered and King was charged with two counts of CDS: Possession- Not Marijuana and Possession of Contraband in Place of Confinement. CASE# 38256-20

Investigation determined a correctional officer observed two plastic baggies containing a white powdery substance, (suspected cocaine) fall from the belongings of Crystal Dawn Balch, age 35 of North Carolina. Concealed Weapon- On July 26, 2020, Dep. Haas responded to the 26200 block of Tin Top School Road in Mechanicsville, for the reported disturbance/loud party. Dep. Haas observed an active disturbance at the scene and made contact with Logan Garrett Blado, age 20 of Mechanicsville. Blado refused to leave the scene and was placed under arrest for trespassing.
