On View Arrests:
Drug Arrest- On September 15, 2021, a vehicle stop was conducted in the 20900 block of Pt. Lookout Road in Callaway. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and located in the purse of Alyssa Marie Beierle, age 19 of Mechanicsville, was a pen which was altered to be used as a straw. The straw contained a white powdery substance. A mirror was also recovered containing a white powder residue. Beierle was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession- Paraphernalia.
Drug Arrest- On September 15, 2021, Dep. J. Smith conducted a traffic stop in the 45300 block of Alton Lane in California. Contact was made with the vehicle operator, Alisha Lynn Semiklose, age 18 of California. In plain view inside the vehicle were two white pills. A probable cause search was conducted and located in a plastic bag were suspected psilocybin mushrooms. Semiklose was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana.
Drug Arrest- On September 16, 2021, Dep. Kril conducted a traffic stop in the 45500 block of Norris Road in Great Mills, after deputies observed a suspected narcotics transaction. An occupant of the vehicle was identified to be Heather Nicole Hugel, age 31 of Great Mills. Located in Hugel's purse was a suspected CDS smoking device containing suspected cocaine residue. Hugel was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession- Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession-Paraphernalia.
Possession of Contraband/DUI- On September 16, 2021, Sgt. Tirpak responded to the reported hit and run accident in the 24800 block of Three Notch Road in Hollywood. The vehicle was located and the driver identified to be Tamara Kimberly Richardson, age 33 of Great Mills. It was determined Richardson was driving under the influence of alcohol and she was arrested. Upon arriving at the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center, a rolled up, makeshift cigarette fell from Richardson's shirt onto the floor. Richardson was charged with Driving Under the Influence and Possess Contraband at Place of Confinement.
Assault- On September 21, 2021, Dep. Wimberly responded to the 21300 block of Foxwood Lane in Great Mills, for the reported assault. Investigation determined David James Clay, age 43 of Great Mills, assaulted the victim by striking the victim in the face multiple times, causing visible injury. Clay was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree.
Assault- On September 21, 2021, Dep. Gardiner responded to the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Kavione Eugene Watts, age 18 of Lexington Park, struck the victim in the face multiple times. Watts was charged with Assault 2nd Degree.
Obstructing and Hindering- On September 21, 2021, Cpl. D. Smith observed an ATV operating on a public roadway in the 46400 block of Franklin Road in Lexington Park. Cpl. Smith stopped the ATV and made contact with the operator, Derrick Xavier Green, age 23 of Lexington Park. Green refused to step away from the ATV, to allow the vehicle's identification number to be checked and advised he would not allow the ATV to be towed. Green was placed under arrest for Obstructing and Hindering an investigation.
