In fact the Bible declares that God turns people into homosexuals, per Romans 1:24-28, so if God made the people into homosexuals then maybe their choices really are limited, and God's punishments are really just blessings in disguise. So per the Bible it is a blessing to be a homosexual because God chose it for certain people.
And you know if he said it it must be correct and true.

I think there is a spelling error here :coffee:

Hi.

In this case it is the Bible which said it.

So people fighting against homosexuality are fighting against God.

Truly, the worst thing which can be done for anyone is just give them what they ask for them self, and then the people will self destruct.

You might want to go a little further back than that JP...Go to Exedus...read through ALL 600 of God's Commandments...Then come back & tell us what you found out about Beastiality & Homosexuality...BEFORE the Roman Occupation...These are God's commandments...You're quoting the Roman doctrine...You're a heretic JP...Go crucify yourself for the sake of mankind please...

You said yesterday that you enjoy a good disagreement. Who could you possibly disagree with more than him?
You, actually.

If God makes people and gives them a path, do you not agree that he clearly makes some people homosexual? Heck, JPC even cited the scripture for you.

This does not mean that you have to love sinners - although Jesus was pretty specific that you are to indeed do that very thing - but to deny that God made them that way makes you the one confused about Christianity, not JPC.

Now that is guaranteed to get you a few votes Jimmy, if you're serious about getting elected you'll do what it takes.

I disagree. That is like saying God made Atheist who they are. Of course not true. God gave free will and laid out a path he wanted you to take. If you did not take this path and chose Atheism or homosexuality, then that is something you will have to answer on your judgment day.

So If I understand you, your saying that God turns them over to a roberate mind, if they resist the concious and or the Holy Spirit efforts to get them to repent and turn from their sin. Then at some point in the future He hardens their hearts and gives them over to their desires of the flesh. So its not Biblical at all, its just the Bible speaks of people loving their sin more than God.

I knew I could find a nugget of truth if I looked hard enough. Their had to be some truth for you to twist.:smack:

Sin is a result of the fall, its a consequence not part of Gods orignal design. Just because you embrace a lie for most of your life, dosent mean at some point with Gods help that you wont reject it for the truth! God's in the bussines of changing hearts and desires. Thats what being born again is all about. Sinfull desires and rejecting God are replaced with Holiness and seeking God. The old man(the flesh) dies and you get a new heart and new desires.:yahoo:

Some people reject that its a choice, but doing something based on a feeling, is making a decession, even if they dont realize it. Just because you really, really believe a lie of Satan, it dosent make it true. When actions go from the thought to the act, a choice is made.

This is an old argument. People will choose wrongly or not as to the kinds of things they will do. The only judge of wrong and right is God Himself, but the Bible provides the guidelines. And in Old Testament and New, the guidance is pretty clear. I don't think it's our place to judge "gay" people. This is something like any other personal issue, which is between the individual and God. It is best addressed in prayer by the one who is (or is considering being) gay. Those who say they are women in men's bodies and vice versa should address their conclusion in passionate prayer with God, sacrificing their own preferences in favor of receiving His guidance. Again, it's not our place to judge. So we need to back off of being judgmental. Judge not, lest ye yourself be judged.

Additionally, we should understand that (for example, applies in reverse) men who talk like ladies and have interests in things normally associated with women are not necessarily also into same-sex sex. Also, people who never marry but aren't sexually active shouldn't be considered to be gay. Our perceptions of others are flawed because we can only see and hear. We are not able to see into the hearts and minds of these people, certainly not to the level the Lord does, and so we who would judge need to back off. Educate, provide the Word, back off, and God will do the rest - if anything is to be done.

The context of “Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires…”

So they bound him, led him away and handed him over to Pilate the governor. – Matthew 27:2

Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified. – Matthew 27:26

It was a judgment, not changing someone into something. They already were what they were. Just as a judge hands down judgment to someone for committing a crime, the people mentioned in Romans committed crimes against God and God rendered His judgment.

Verse 25 says “They exchanged the truth about God for a lie”. THEY did it, not God. THEY chose for themselves, not God. Because of this God rendered His judgment and His wrath against these sins.

Pretty neat how you seem to know all if this and present it as a fact!
