One of the most annoyingly used words .....

LightRoasted

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

Is everyone "braced" for the coming "winter chill?" Do people "brace" for bad news? Do people "brace" for a possible war? Does the government apparatus "brace" for potential budgets cuts? Before the election, democrats were told to "brace" for deep losses. Or does one just prepare?

However, bracing can come in handy to prevent structural damage if an earthquake hits. One can brace a broken arm, or leg. Or even brace a chair. One can brace a pistol.

Some damn lazy writers out there, let me tells ya.

/end rant/

They use "Brace" instead of "Prepare". The one syllable word is easier for ya'll than the two syllable word.

Existential threat. When I hear that I want to be the existential threat that chokes the speaker. And don't get me started with "the devil is in the details!"

I'm a Connecticut transplant. Never had a frozen spigot. Never even bothered to shut of the water lines to them. This in zero degree weather. Folk around here don't even know what cold weather is.

A few of us do. I used to go winter camping in VT with temps around -15*F. But that was when I was young, virile, stupid and indestructible.

The issue is not "educate yourself" the question is would you actually take the time to do it.

Financial literacy is a much-needed skill in the world of IRAs, Roth IRAs SEP IRAs, Profit-sharing, 401Ks, Roth 401Ks, HSAs and 529s someone telling you, you need to educate yourself about these items is most likely the best friend you'll ever have. That is if you ever take the time to do it!
