Online scanner status

As of 1435, Calvert scanner is back up on gen power and 3G Cell internet connection.

Charles scanner is online.

St. Mary's scanner is offline, pending restoration of power. St. Mary's freqs are being covered by the Calvert scanner in the interim.

Power has been restored as well as the normal DSL internet connection for the Calvert scanner. Emergency operations are terminated for the Calvert scanner, except that the Calvert scanner will continue to support St. Mary's frequencies until that scanner comes back online.

In case we haven't said so lately, thanks for all of your hard work with the scanner. Until I lost cable/Internet during the night Saturday, I was listening to Calvert. Because of that, I was able to keep some people who had to be out during the weather emergency, up-dated.

We thank you for providing the mechanism that helped to keep them safe under those trying circumstances.

Hi All, Power has been restored in St. Mary's as of noon today, but internet is still down. Will advise as soon as it is operational again.

I will reprogram the Calvert scanner to have only Calvert stuff on it in a few minutes. Glad y'all are back up and running! Hot water is a really GOOD thing, ain't it!

I missed the water more than anything, internet was second. thank goodness you don't need power for the sewer to work. One generator and transfer switch coming up... Being forced to listen to local radio also gave me a super duper appreciation for XM and PodCasts....
