Got a new scratcher today and it came with a bag of cat nip. None of my cats have really shown an interest in cat nip, so I just tossed the bag on the counter. Apparently this was primo stuff because I heard some noise in the kitchen and one them got the bag torn open and there is cat nip from one end of the kitchen to the other and 4 cats rolling all over. Guess they'll have the munchies later. :killingme

P.S. I love my swiffer sweeper.

That's really cute. :D

My cat's never been interested in catnip either. I ate a few green olives tonight and guess my hands still smelled like it, because when I went to pet the cat she started acting really spazzy and twitchy. I went and grabbed a green olive and gave it to her and let's just say that I have a really wacked out cat at the moment. Has anyone ever heard of this?

You said you were kidding... but I still laughed.

It really was funny at the time to see 4 cats rolling all over the kitchen floor and catnip going everywhere. Must have gotten it all up, they don't seem to smell any.

If yours are like mine, I can see them now: running, sniffing, "Where did it go?! What did you do with it, man?!"

"Like wow, I hope she breaks out the good stuff again soon!"

We thought Pepper was an exceptional dog (in many ways.) because she loved catnip. But our current dogs, Sophie and Dexter, love catnip, too. Stoners!

talk about a "Debbie Downer"....come on bring back that fun....It cleans up easy...

We put ours on the carpet however, as the vacumm makes quick work of the mess when they are done. Nothing like seeing your 14+ old persain doing the twist and shout in a pile of catnip.
