Opening a home daycare in Lusby

Hello all!! I have just moved to calvert and I am thinking about opening a home daycare. I live off of rousby hall rd.(not close to the road) I was wondering if I could get some feed back from some mom's in the area. Are there a lot of people in this area looking for daycare?

I live in the Ranch Club, in between the middle and back gates and there are (literally) 6 home daycare's I can count as I drive to my house.

I think the market is a bit saturated in Lusby for daycare providers but you never know! And Good Luck!!

You could try the classifieds...There are always a good # of people looking for full/part time providers.

Yes! I have taken a few classes so far. I am Certified in SIDS.

Yes!! you have to have a license unless it is family.

I have been CPR certified for over 4 years.

One thing is for sure no matter how many day cares there are in your area if you offer a good price and a safe and fun enviroment that does not try and charge for every minute you are late or too business like. (more of a focus on the children and not just the money aspect of it) service you will be full in no time.
