Opinions on doctor's Smith & Guarinello

Does anyone have Smith & Guarinello as their pediatrician's?

How are the office hours? Do you see them right away or do you have to wait a long time?
How is the front desk customer service? Do they answer their phones right away to help you?

How do you rate the service about Dr. Smith? How they handle special needs kids?
How do you rate the service about Dr. Guarinello? How they handle special needs kids?

We used to have them and really liked them, however it started to take an hour from being taken back in the room to seeing a doctor and we had to change. The fact you can call their nurse during the day is great and the front desk staff were always very nice. Was just a shame we had to wait so long.

If you don't mind me asking, who did you go to? I have been using at cambridge pediatrics and lets just say I am looking to make a move. You sometimes can get a nurse on the phone after 5 rings and it takes forever to be seen.

Funny you should ask that, we actually switched to Cambridge because at the time they had fantastic hours, were easy to get in etc and we loved Dr. Abney. However, that soon became a TOTAL nightmare as I'm sure you now know if you're looking to move. You cannot get in and out shorter than 2 hours which is just ridiculous and the office staff couldn't care less. We now see Jamie Reidy in La Plata and her and her office staff are AWESOME!

I've taken my kids there since they were born. We've never had any problems there. The staff is great and my daughter loves Dr. Guarinello. Yes, sometimes you do have a wait, but in my opinon its no longer than any other Dr's office. I wouldn't think of using any other pediatricians at the moment.
