Oru Kayak Preorder – Oru Kayak

Looks to be made out of the same white corrugated plastic the USPS uses for bins, and that stuff is pretty stout. $850 or so for a 12 foot kayak that weighs about 25lbs and could be checked on a flight (not sure of the height/length on that though).

850 bucks? I guess that's okay for one you can carry like a suitcase. But what about the paddle?

Breakdown paddle. And the design allows for a PFD and breakdown paddle to be carried inside the folded up kayak.
