How do I get it to stop replacing the text when I want to add something in the middle of a sentence or correct spelling? Right now when I start typing the correction, it starts erasing everything to the right of my cursor.?

I've searched Help and the web but they just want to tell me how to turn off auto-correct, which isn't the problem. I'm using Outlook 2003.

The only time that happens when I am typing text is when the "insert" key has been activated. Don't know if that affects Outlook 2003 since i don't use Outlook, but that's what happens when the "insert key" is hit by accident - all text to the right gets replaced with what you are typing.

Press "insert" to stop the problem and just cursor to an area where you want to type new words - let me know if that worked or not. :buddies:

I'm glad you asked this, this happens to me all the time!!! I just thought the computer was too dumb to know any better!

And before you laugh at me, SHUT UP! That's my reasoning behind it, and I'm sticking to it :lmao:
