Melissa Swanson tells 'Fox & Friends' adults at rival high school should have stepped in

North Carolina parents are outraged after a rival high school held up a "privileged" sign during a football game. Melissa Swanson, whose child attends Charlotte Catholic High School, said the sign was directed at "rich, White" families.

Butler High School cheerleaders held up the sign, which read "Sniff, sniff. You smell that? Privilege," surrounded by dollar signs, as the football players ran through it and onto the field.

Swanson, a single mother of a biracial son, doesn’t consider herself privileged and considers the sign racist.

"I hate to use that word, but yes," she told Fox News’ Ainsley Earhardt. "It was definitely geared towards the White, rich, privileged folks that they think are the only people at the Catholic school."

So, who won the game?

If that's the best they can do for trash talking, God help them. It sounds like some whiney white liberal gender confused wrote it.

Single mom with a biracial kid is most likely the parent of a very talented player. The private schools offer scholarships to deserving low socio economic types. But they have to be able to run very fast or be capable of tossing an orange ball through a metal hoop.

In this case I'm pretty sure it's not an insult, but the rich white kids trying to tell their rivals they are better than them. Unfortunate be ause it will be used by race baiters.
