I saw this last Saturday and thought it was great family entertainment. For those who don't know what it is, it's a new "PG"-rated family animated comedy from the producers of Shrek, Madagascar, and Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. It has a big voice cast including Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling, Steve Carell, William Shatner, Nick Nolte, Avril Lavinge, and Thomas Haden Church. It could use more of a plot, but it's so fast-paced and jammed with cute hilarity, you don't notice much. Stealing the show is Carell (star of The 40-Year-Old Virgin and NBC's "The Office") as hyperactive squirrel. He's adorable and it's the best vocal performance since Ellen Degeneres' in Finding Nemo. If you want to take the kids to a fun little flick that'll keep them glued to the screen for an hour and half, this is definitely recommended. Really cute little comedy.

I saw that yesterday. I had no idea that Avril Lavinge was a good voice actress. Are any of her songs on the soundtrack?

I'm not usually one for cartoons but....

... Between the Propane powered flying wagon scene and the skunking in Beyotch Manor, I was laughing so hard it hurt.
