Here's a spite-filled little note: Taking America's Charter Back From the Tea Party

"The conservative vision would undo Social Security and Medicare through the worst form of judicial activism. Constitutional Progressives are fighting that vision with the text of the Constitution itself."

And even worse, NO one is talking about getting rid of Social Security or Medicare. They are talking about reforming it so it is still viable in the future.

They are merely demagoguing the third rail issues trying to marginalize their political opponents.

Gasp, those radicals, are so radical, that they are talking about just scaling back the amount of socialism a little bit and make it work better, Naw, thats NOT moderate at all.

The worst radicals of them all, are the ones trying to make Social Security an actually "Retirement Plan", like the liberals have been lying saying it is for almost a century. No, No, No, such honestly will NOT stand, we must march Social Security into full communism and rapid insolvency, that is the only way it will be a true "Retirement Plan".

What makes it an oxymoron is that Progressives have stated on the record that the Constitution "is flawed", "a charter of negative liberties" and “reflects some deep flaws in American culture.” Obama has often commented on his disdain for the separation of powers, saying he'd really like to be able to do an end-around Congress.

Fundamentally, they are opposed to a strict interpretation of the Constitution. It would be like saying a socialist conservative . There ain't no such animal.
