But this doesn't make sense b/c there is no set language in the US. France has French, Mexico has Spanish, Germany has German, Brazil has Portuguese, China has Mandarin.... but the US does not. English is not the set language in the US. You have to learn the other languages. I just never understood that the US never set English as it language.
Essentially this ruling is unconstitutional and if they understand that can appeal.

in addition PA is not one of the states that addopted the "Official English Law"
They have lawyers, they don't need to understand.

No less a figure than Benjamin Franklin circulated pamphlets expressing alarm that German settlers, now representing a third of the colony’s population, were failing to learn the language of their English neighbors. ‘Great disorders and inconveniences may one day arise among us,’ he warned, unless the Germans could be assimilated:
Those who come hither are generally of the most ignorant Stupid Sort of their own Nation, and as Ignorance is often attended with Credulity when Knavery would mislead it, and with Suspicion when Honesty would set it right; and as few of the English understand the German Language, and so cannot address them either from the Press or Pulpit, 'tis almost impossible to remove any prejudices they once entertain. (Franklin, [1753] 1961: IV, 483–484)

When someone says you're in America, learn English I am compelled to correct them, they are usually suprised and then they think I'm not patriotic. Ugh!
Is it that hard to have English as the official language of the US?

I had to re-read it and find out where I went wrong! Ok, I didn't mean to use the blackccent! Oh I can't stand that way of speak!
if I really wanted to lay a black-ccent on thick I'd have instead of "they" I would have typed "dey".
