I have a great book you need to read. I am about 3/4 through it now. It is titled, "How Capitalism Saved America: the Untold History of Our Country from the Pilgrims to the Present" by Thomas J. DiLorenzo (he is a professor of economics in the Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola).
It is pretty straightforward and a quick read. It is very interesting. One of its greatest points is how anticapitalism has spread while capitalism has been continually demonized without merit. This book is great for anyone who reads these forums (not just LG). Hopefully someone picks it up soon because I am itching to discuss it. For the lefties, you can even Bush bash by reading it.
