Paint Shop Pro 8

Several years ago I edited a color photo to b&w and then placed only certain colors back into the photo. For the life of me I can't remember how to do that again.

Is there anyone out there that can give me step by step instructions for this???

I'll have to toy with it and get back to you, but I think I can figure it out.

Sitting at work but have Paint Shop on my home computer so I'm trying to remember best I can,
Select the item you wish to remain in color. Go to drop down menus at top of screen, I think under "masks" and pick "invert" now everything but what you selected will be inverted, change to B&W. Or, open the picture in color, change to B&W and save. Have both the original and the B&W open, cut and paste color to the B&W. Hope this helps some.

That helped! I was able to copy from the color photo and then past as a transparancy into the B&W using the magic wand tool!! Thanks!
