Pansies?

I planted pansies last fall around my outside lamp. They came back beautifully this spring and still look good. Does anyone know if they will bloom all summer or should I plant my annuals there like I usually do so I have flowers all summer? This is the first time I planted pansies and they did great where I planted them.
