Parents Left Child In Car While Shopping

You know, I just do not understand people these days and to be honest have given up trying.

There is no way in hell I would leave a young child in a vehicle unattended. I just don't see how anyone could even THINK about shopping with their child left outside alone.:burning:

in this day and age, why the hell would you do that???!!!! i would never leave my child in the car if i had to do some shopping....not even if it were for just one item!!! I swear, people just don't use their heads any longer!! :tantrum:boo:

Nothing in that store would be more important than my child. I had 4 kids and always took them with me if I could. If necessary I would get my SIL to watch them.

"The car was not running and police said the toddler was crying when they found him.

Investigators found the boy around 2:45 a.m. Friday. Police said there was no heat in the car and estimated it to be about 36 degrees at the time.

Jason Litten from the Washington County Sheriff's office said, "The child was found just wearing a T-shirt, blue jeans and no shoes, soaking wet. It was quite cold in the vehicle. He was shivering and quite scared."​

The mom deserves some jail time for this, that poor little boy. I have a 2 year old boy and this makes me weep thinking of him scared and alone and cold. What kind of mother does this? She should loose custody for being a complete idiot if nothing else.

You aren't kidding she needs some jail time! 36 degrees and he has no coat on? That plus abandoning him in a car - it makes my heart ache. She can't be just young and naive. This is awful. Poor little baby.

Why dont they just take the child away from the parent and give him to someone who can take of him the right way.
