STAFFORD, Va. (WUSA) - One local Sheriff's Department is warning parents in the area about an alarming trend. Teens in increasing numbers are engaging in the practice of "sexting." Sexting is the sending of nude photos to a boyfriend, girlfriend or just an acquaintance, from cellular phones, sometimes accompanied by sexually explicit messages.

Teenagers don't need cell phones. If they have one and they disrespect the rules, it gets taken away.

You have fun giving your child a cell for "emergencies" only. :yay:

I'm on your side  I don't think kids need them either, but when you get to highschool age I'm not opposed to the kid having one until, as you say, they decide to break the rules. :yay:

You would think with all the parental plans they have out now, where you can know who, what, when, where and why EVERYTHING happens on a phone, that these type of things would at minimum slow up to where the "sheriff's" dept. wouldn't have to "warn" people.
