Thanks for that touching reminder Shygirl. I lost my Mom a month ago and it was exactly like that. She went from a child to an adult, back to child again and it broke my heart seeing her totally dependent on me for everything. Watching her deteriorate in the last year was overwhelming but the good news was that I was able to be there for her every day as she was for me many years ago. We all get impatient & angry with the elderly at times but remember, one day we might be there too, and how will we want to be treated? How will our kids treat us? It's tough losing your dignity & independence and having strangers bathe, dress & feed you. I can only imagine how so many old folks must feel when it happens to them.:bawl: Imagine yourself in that position. Very sad & scary too. Thanks again.

I watched the first few seconds and couldn't watch anymore...I can't imagine what you must have gone through and how difficult it was to watch your Mom deteriorate. :huggy: for being strong and determined to see her through to her end, she was blessed to have you!
