RT 5, Park Hall, Right by Park Hall Elementary School. Just happened so may be shut down for a while. I saw a vehicle, looked like a work truck, totally engulfed. Emergency vehicles not even there yet.

Awful, just awful. Glad she will be alright but sure she is traumatized. I'll leave it at that.

Simply too many accidents in St. Mary's County. All of Southern Maryland for that matter. Most are likely due to distracted driving (cell phones) and then the list continues to driving under the influence to driving while intoxicated. Under the infludence can include drugged driving.

Going across and jumping a ditch as a car drifts off of the road can certainly cause it to flip. Usually more than once. Depending upon the speed when it occurs.
