Anyone familiar with them? A co-worker is looking at renting there. What should they be aware of?
Anyone with experience, good, bad or otherwise?

They should be aware that they are located just off Great Mills Road and across from Westbury neighborhood. They also butt up to Lexwood drive which leads to another sketchy area. The whole area is 👎

Most of Maryland is sketchy until you get west of Hagarstown or east of Kent Island.
That's a big help.
Vrai, they have checked the ads on line. That's how this question came about.
Personally I think the "deal" is sketchy.
I'm not thrilled with the area either, but I have not lived there - that complex. Is it gated?
I thought I saw an ad one time that it was a gated community.

Does it have security?

I know people who live in the park, south of GM Rd by BK lounge.
I have not heard them complain about safety.
Did live in the Greens 25 years ago, wasn't terribly impressed then.

There are section 8 people in just about every neighborhood in St Mary's. Back home the poor people lived in a different town altogether.

That and the sex offender website shows more of them in good neighborhoods than along GMR.

Like others said, the area around it isn't great but the apartment community itself isn't bad from my experience. Not gated but feels isolated/sheltered even with its proximity to GMR.

LOL - got the handle, area code for Philadelphia or it use to be, now there are like 20

Talked to the person and they are aware of the area, and came to the same conclusion. If it comes down to it, they won't rule because they feel unsafe.

I lived in the The Greens back when they were brand new! Thing1 was about a year old, so it was about mid-1992(?) I think. One of the first buildings, top floor and we were the first tenants in that apt. 👍
