Part time Dogs?

Help "Invisible Dogs"
If you want the joy of a dog, but not the long term commitment, please consider fostering for a local group. The number of animals we can save is a direct reflection on the number of foster homes we have available.

Take a look at some of the dogs at TriCounty Shelter right now, with foster homes, these animals wouldn't have to spend another night on the cold cement floor.

Sahpire - 1 yr old black female Golden Retriever Mix

Basil - 7 yr old beagle mix

Bogy - 1 yr 4 month female American Eskimo Dog mix

Gabby - 4 yr old Siberian Husky mix

Duchess - 2 yr old female Shetland Sheepdog and Keeshond mix.

This is just the tip of the iceburg. There is also a pure bred Min Pin, a pom, a border collie mix, a senior cocker spaniel, a senior GSD, a number of beagles and hounds. (I didn't even get through the whole shelter last night...)

It's the holidays, please consider making your complete by becoming a foster family or by bringing home a new companion!

aww. True, true..
Though the holidays are the worst time to bring a pet home.. a lot of stress and not a lot of time to devote.

Waiting until after new years is a better idea :howdy:

I agree, but these animals dont have the time to wait until the new year. Sad, but true.

I agree, but these animals dont have the time to wait until the new year. Sad, but true.

Not too mention during the holiday's there will be even more dogs available since suddenly the beloved family pet is in the way for holiday travel or holiday guests.

I understand the convenience of waiting, but these animals don't have that luxury. Without someone opening their homes and hearts now, they won't be around for the holidays.

Since I started opening my home to homeless animals I haven't had a Christmas tree or any holiday decorations, of course, I don't have any kids or family to come around, so I have made a decision that I can live with, to me the animals will always come first.

"Annie" is adorable...

You'll never have "extra" room, you just need to take one, adjust to the change, and help.

Why don't I just go vigilante on a breeder or two?

I'm already taking in a second beagle part time. I live in an apartment but have access to a large yard. Only room for the two beagles in the vehicle. Guess I'm full.... Don't get me wrong, I care but there has to be a limit.
