part time job info anybody?

Anybody have any good ideas about where to get a part time job for a 24 year old like myself? It would have to be evenings starting at like 530 though. Anytime on the weekends. Nothing like a gas station or flipping burgers though, and $10 or over an hour would be nice. Let me know if you guys think of anything interesting. I've thought of some but I wanted to see if you guys came up with something more interesting. thanks

Where are you located?

I've heard good things from people who work at Sheetz, it seems to be a pretty laid back atmosphere.

You might be able to get a part time job in a construction trade, I work full time right now but am about to switch to part time in order to take some retarded college courses.

Since you mentioned it....

My son is on work-release (from high school, not a detention center!). He currently works for a lawn care service, but obviously that job will be ending soon. He's 17, has his own transportation, and would be available as early as 10:30-11 am weekdays. Also available evenings/weekends. Any ideas appreciated (we're in northern Calvert). Thanks

Or, if you can't make a drink or fake it, try working the door at one or the night spots(cute guys usually get HOOKED UP) Or try a liquor store. Easy money, your usually done by 10 or 11 and if your cute, cute people get all the luck huh?, bet you could get invited to a few parties after work. Some of the door guys and boucers make 50 bucks a night. Liquor stores will probably pay like 7 an hour. I just stared at a liquor store 2-3 eves a week. It's laid back and I am out of there no later than 11. I like that. It's a few extra $$ for totally no effort. I used to do the pizza thing too, that was good money but be choosey as to where you go. I would suggest San Souci Pizza Hut or something in Prince Frederick. You don't want to do it in Lexington Park, I never got robbed but it has happened plus the tips are better elsewhere.

I don't know if you would consider retail, but since the holiday season is upon us, retailers (the mall in Waldorf for example) are probably looking for lots of help. I saw a news story this weekend that says that some places (probably up near DC, but maybe around here too) are offering bonuses for the holiday season.

Also you need to mention what Skills you have? Where are you willing to drive to, etc. I have been doing some part time work for a differenct company getting 35 / hour. It is technician work but I do not mind. It is an enjoyable break from my engineering duties.

thanks for all your good ideas, I like to drink to much to be a bartender haha. I dont know if I could serve people all night, I think id rather be on the other side of the bar hah.
