Party Venue Ideas

I'm sure it's been posted here a time or two, but I'm too lazy to look through the old posts. . . .

My daughter will be 3 years old in the beginning of March and I'm trying to find a decent place to have a party for her. We live in Waldorf - but I really don't want to do Chuck E Cheese! I'd actually like to have the party out of Waldorf. . . towards St. Mary's. I considered Hyperspace - but the website says that they are closed for restructuring. . . . Most of the guests will be travelling from the Waldorf/Accokeek area so I don't want to go too far down. And one last thing - I need something that would be fun for ages from 1 - 8.

Am I hopeless, or does anyone have any ideas?

BTW - I'm not doing it at home because I live in a townhouse and have issues with parking.

The little gym (don't think it's called that anymore). I think it's flip and ?. I think they have a Waldorf and La Plata location.

That is where we had our son's party at one year. It is a really good place to go to for little ones.

have it at someone elses place 3 is tooooo young to waste that kind of money on.. They dont care so save the money

To my karma giver -

I would love to do it at someone else's home - unfortunately, I deal with a dreadful family situation. . . such that if I don't have the party at a neutral location, I will wind up having to have 2 parties - which would essentially cost me even more in the long run. I can't really post about the details of that here. . . . but my day to day is truly like a soap opera.

One of mine wanted theirs at McDonald's and they had a good time at that age. For everything you get with it, it's cheaper than having it at home.

I had both my kids parties at the JumpYard last year. Daughter turned 3, son turned 7. Already booked for both kids again this year. Kids had a blast and we end up going to parties there at least 2 times a month.:yahoo:

I've heard so much about the JumpYard - do they have a website?
