PGPD Passenger in December Collision Dies of Injuries

Investigators with our Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit are investigating a crash that occurred in December. The passenger, 34-year-old Makoko Coulibaly of Takoma Park, died of her injuries on January 17, 2021.

On December 10, 2020, around 11:40 am, officers responded to the 6000 block of Good Luck Road for a single-vehicle collision.

The investigation reveals the driver was traveling
westbound on Good Luck Road. For reasons that remain under investigation, the car left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver suffered what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger, Coulibaly, was critically hurt.
