CVS and Walgreens does them too. My husband had his done at CVS, very quick and not as expensive as the post office.

Not all post offices do passports. And you may need an appointment at those that do. Lexington Park and St. Mary's City did do passport applications and photos, but you may want to call first to verify they are still doing them.

Has been number of years since I had mine renewed, but there was a post office on the way to Prince Frederick (turning off of MD-5 at Hughesville) that did the pictures as well. But that was back in 2006 or so. Calling is probably a good idea.

I did mine myself. You just need a digital camera (and who doesn't these days), a color laser printer (or print at Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, etc), a plain background, and a tripod or someone to take the picture. You can go on the State Dept website and get the specifications.

Right, can't be an inkjet. Needs to be a laser or dye-sub printer.

Rite Aid in Charlotte Hall does them also, saw a family the other day getting them done.

Pro-Tip- Go to CVS/Rite-Aid and take a picture of your head and shoulders with your phone in front of the pull-down backdrop (or a white section of wall).

Use their kiosk to print yourself 2 wallet size photos (think its a buck or so), then cut them down slightly to the required 2" by 2".

I have done this several times, for several people.
