With your sense of direction, you're better off staying in the state. Try Arundel Mills.

Make sure you have a full tank of gas and some provisions if you are going this afternoon @ 4.:roadrage::beltwayparkinglot:

Never heard of it before. However, Potomac Mills is roughly a 1.5 hour drive.

:yeahthat: I grew up in that area.. the highschool I went to is directly across from the movie part of the mall  It looks like Lorton with the big fence around it (to keep the kids in and drug dealers out) then you have the driver's Ed tower out there by the fence that makes it look even more like Lorton  Enjoy your trip to the mall  And as Terri Garr said on opening day of that mall, "Happy Shopping!!"

In your dreams, leaving here at 4:00 it's probably more like 4 hrs. considering traffic (Wilson Bridge and Mixing Bowl)

I live in Golden Beach and it takes me about 1 hour 15 minutes to get to either Potomac Mills or Arundel Mills, without bad traffic. They are both about 60 miles away from me. If you're leaving at 4:00 for Potomac Mills you are asking to sit in traffic if you go via the Wilson bridge. I've gone by way of the Nice bridge and up through Fredericksburg, but it's a lot more miles for me. But at least I kept moving and didn't sit in bumper to bumper traffic. Good luck! Do you have a good map?

Are you leaving at 4 on a work day or weekend day? If its a weekend day, I find the traffic to only be about an hour and a half worth, if its a workday, then generally there's more traffic. Hope that helps some

It takes about 2 hours from Lexington Park depending on traffic. If you leave at 4:00pm, you probably won't get there until 7:00pm due to traffic on 95 South. Your best bet is to go on mapquest.com and put in your start location and Potomac Mills is located in Woodbridge, VA.

Good Luck

Go across the 301 bridge hit 95 NOrth...

OR you could go up to the beltway and go across.. I travel to Woodbridge fairly frequently and go the 301 route
