"alert and concious" according to SPEED

Larry Hollenback was ok he was taken out of the car with a thumbs up to thr crowd. It took them nearly an hour to get Sheltra removed from his car.

The Shootout is just as much of a crashfest as ARCA

Obama destroyed America
That was one of the worst crashes I've ever seen. :faint:

He's been taken to Halifax Medical Center, no word on his condition or anything.

And those words are too familiar. :frown:

BREAKING NEWS: Sheltra, Hollenback involved in terrible crash at Daytona | ARCA << here's my article on rftw, I've got people over at his race team so we'll hear something around the same time (if not sooner) than FOX.
Got video? I was at the pub with friends and missed the crash. Noticed they red flagged it and were extricating him. Saw him smile & give a thumbs up.

It was Hollenback who gave the thumbs up... they didn't show Sheltra being removed from the car.

They're both out of the hospital and recovering. I hope Sheltra's healed up in time for Salem and Rockingham in April.

Can you believe that after NASCAR red flaged the ARCA race ,NASCAR had the nerve to send Logano to rear of field for the Shoot Out because he missed the Driver's meeting !

Um... NASCAR does not sanction ARCA Re/Max Series racing so they don't control when ARCA throws the red flag.

The Driver's Meeting is mandatory. Doesn't matter if you're racing or not. The Sprint Cup guys get sent to the back of the field all the time for missing the Nationwide Driver's Meetings.

Why?

Joey Logano, more than anyone, needs to be at the Driver's Meetings. I don't care if he is "Sliced Bread," he's a ROOKIE.

And these rookies need to know a few things before they go out and make a rookie mistake like the dozens of rookie mistakes that were made in the ARCA Daytona 200.
