I hope that isn't true. I have always really liked him, mainly, because they did an interview many years ago and his personality was incredible. He is a very personable type person.

Strange the pancreatic cancer story breaks the same day CNN features Steve Jobs.

Not gonna buy it. Can't bear to buy it.

It is on the main page of Perez Hilton saying that Patrick's publist made the official announcement of him having the cancer.

First move I saw him in was The Outsiders. Very sad.

Very good movie though. I think every movie he's been in he's done really well, or at least every movie I've seen him in. On the good side, they said the cancer he had was very limited and should be fine. I hope that's the truth.

Me too. I adored him in Ghost.

Pancreatic cancer 5 year survival rate = 5%

Mean time from diagnosis to death = 3 to 6 months.

Pancreatic cancer is nasty as hell.

I hope he'll do better than the average and I hope they caught it early, before metastasis although that's not common. Poor bastard.

Yes it is nasty but I'm holding out hope that they caught it early.
