Pax base drug testing?

Neighbor told me yesterday that there was a massive roundup and drug test on the base. He said it took almost 2 hours to complete. Dozens and dozens of people in line waiting to pee. Seemed to be a bit more than just a random test event. Did something go down?

Friend of mine was complaining about that yesterday on facebook. Said they moved to a new larger location and called in like a weeks worth of appointments for the first day and everyone chose to come in during lunch instead of starting at 8am like they were scheduled.

They are trying to get a baseline until Pot is lealized on the State level. Still not legal on the Federal level, which means illegal on Base.

Baseline? If you are in a designated position and test positive, adverse action whether legal in Maryland or not.

True for certain positions...... so far.
For every position that would require these people to come in and test. They aren't testing people that do not have a drug testing requirement, and they do not have a drug testing requirement unless it's required to maintain a clearance or operate machinery.
