On April 28th & 29th 2007 World Team Sports, working with The Walter Reed Army Medical Center, The National Naval Medical Center, The Brooke Army Medical Center and others will be hosting our 2007 Face of America Bike Ride, a two-day inclusive bike ride from Gettysburg to Washington D.C. to honor and assist our disabled veterans returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
A friend of mine is part of the Pax Rats, who are composed of active duty Marine and Navy personnel from the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, and will be going on the 110 mile bike ride to honor their fellow service members. The donations gathered from this ride benefit our wounded veterans. You can elect to make a donation to the team or to individual riders… The Team website can be found here
