This is the first year that my son is playing for Pax River Raiders. How does opening day usually go? I heard that it isn't an all day affair like Pigskin was...any experience?

No it isn't. Pep Rally the day before is a couple hours, then opening day it a typical gameday with pictures.

Its just a normal game day as far as I know.

Each club has one Saturday that is a "homecoming" where all their games are at home.

Probably 85lb is the one I most want to watch. The Braves team that won the state tourney last year has a bye first week though.
