Noise Advisory -- Communities surrounding Naval Air Station Patuxent River are advised that noise-generating test flights are scheduled to take place Saturday, March 3, 2012. Low-level jet aircraft flight operations are required in order to conduct calibration testing with ground based equipment. Testing is scheduled to be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents may notice increased noise levels due to this testing. As with all operations, NAS Patuxent River takes precautions to lessen the impact of testing activities on the community.
