Just wondering if anyone has filed a claim with paypal and received your money back.
I have filed a claim, but I see two conflicting statements on their web site. One states that you are protected up to $200 ($2000 for qualifying items) with no special limitations. Another statement says you'll be reimbursed, to the extend that they can recover funds from the seller. To me, this means if the seller withdraws their funds, you're SOL as a buyer.
Of course, they expect it to take 30 days to resolve a claim (and you'll end up paying your credit card bill to them).
So in the mean time, I'm wondering if I should challenge this through my credit card company (and say screw it to the paypal buyer protection if there's really no protection).
