PCI Video Card

I'm looking for a PCI video card to be used as a second device for a theater setup. I need to be able to get to 32 bit color @ 1280 x 1024, so a decent amount of memory is needed, as it won't be stealing any system memory. DVI would be nice, but a VGA connector is OK. The only cards I can find lying around are ancient and won't do the job.

Anyone have an old card they would want to get rid of? Most of the stuff in the store is PCI-E or AGP, and the few PCI cards I see won't do the job.

I have one. Its an old one with only 4mb of memory but it will do your resolution. I dont think the DVI standard was ever used with PCI cards. If it was used the cards are few and far between.

Thanx! Didn't see your post until now. I appreciate the offer. The one I found at Tiger will do just fine. I want to use that card to drive the projector for the theater while the other card handles the OS and apps, so only the movies appear on the big screen. The price was right, too.

That's about the same thing I've got (not sure about DVI though). I bought it with the intent of needing to use it as a spare or secondary card, but I don't have any more free ports on my computer (bluetooth, wireless, additional usb ports because i've used all 10 that came with it, tv tuner, etc, etc.)

14 USB ports, and I'm using all of them. :lmao:
