Thinking outside of the box here, but get a bag of peanuts and a grinder and make your own.
I'd think Aldi's would be the place for that.

Maybe. A 5lb bag is $7 at BJs, but sounds like a lot of work to shell and grind, might not be cost effective.

Not with a Ninja chopper...just throw in the peanuts & run it for 2-3 minutes...comes out smooth
Hell, sit down & shell the peanuts while watching TV...

Don't have a Ninja, would have to clean up all the shell schnibbles after shelling, clean the chopper...And it was WalMart for the win, Aldi a close 2nd. 4 lb container for 50 cents more than 5 lbs of

Ya know, as long as an unopened jar of peanut butter is kept in a cool unlit place, akin to being in a closed door cupboard, it will last long past the printed expiry date.
