It was jarring. Barbara Lee is one of her House lieutenants, but what her wedding had to do with any of the serious and pressing global matters at hand today was anybody’s guess.

Mrs. Pelosi stammered and stared around, apparently confused about when the wedding was, where the celebration would be or why any of it was relevant in this grave moment. She felt the urge to explain.

“I convey that to you because it is a source of joy to us, as she is a source of joy.” Silence was the only response from those gathered in the room with pen and pad looking on.

Apparently feeling that she had not made the case, Mrs. Pelosi quickly added: “And her service to the country. And her personal happiness is lovely.”

I almost feel sorry for her.
The Democrats need to find new leadership.
Nancy just aint cutting it any more.

If a Republican behaved like that the Dem media would rake them over the coals. Since it's one of theirs, they praise her as "compassionate" and "masterful" and a "real leader".

Nancy Pelosi is a joke and the Democrat Party is the butt of her joke.

I don't notice him slurring, but Trump sniffs a LOT. Not so much a sniff as one of those deep breaths through the nose with pursed lips that your Dad gives you when you've done something and he's trying not to lose his temper. My first husband's dad was the king of that peculiarity. He's also not a very good speech reader - he's much better off the cuff. (Trump that is, not my first husband's dad.)

But he's been an A- President so far, so his little idiosyncrasies don't disturb me. #MAGA

He’s pushing 80, he is fit as a fiddle as far as I’m concerned. Most folks that age that I know couldn’t run a CVS, much less the country. I wasn’t knocking any coke use, if that’s what it takes, well thumbs up.

Trump does not dabble in drugs or alcohol - he's a hardcore teetotaler. If he did toot, believe me, we'd have heard about it. I'm guessing he's like a shark: if he stops moving he'll die.

According to what I read about him, he sleeps very little. We needed a shark right about now. Thank you, President Trump. I still say he saw what was happening to the USA when he was hobnobbing with the Dems. He ran for prez because he is a patriot. Go, Trump! :patriot:

Also, he had it made in the shade; so to speak. Who would ever bring this kind of turmoil into their life, if they were not a patriot? Think about all the military that were willing to die for US. Trump probably has the biggest target on his back of anyone; since the beginning of our beloved Country.
