The Pentagon confirmed Tuesday that, as long as the budget impasse lasts, it will not be able to pay death benefits to the families of troops who've been killed in combat.

For the first time in my life I am at total embarrassment of my government. This is beyond comprehension given what has already occurred.

If the reports are true that the White House Lawyers informed the Justice and DOD to not allow the payments for political purposes then I believe we need to serious give credence to impeachment proceedings.
