People are Stupid

There was massive news with this storm talking about the huge amount of ice and snow that would hit these places. I heard national broadcasts explicitly telling people that travel would be completely unsafe and it was best to avoid the roadways. Yet, these morons try to travel in it anyway and have the stupid notion that its the states fault because they didn't close down the roads earlier to keep these people from being retarded and going out and getting stuck.

I get so tired of people expecting the governments to parent their stupid choices, and if the states doesn't stop them from being stupid, it must be the states fault.

Why is it so difficult for some people to admit that they are wrong? They want to blame someone else for their own stupidity!

Some drivers were angry that they had been let on the road at all.
:killingme

That made me laugh out loud for several moments. Then, as soon as I settled down enough to read the rest of the story, here comes this little gem:

"How could you operate a state like this? It's totally disgusting," Coleman said.

:lmao: :roflmao:

I would like to slap all the lib nutballs who encourage people to think that the government has anything to do with weather. :smack:

You know, you have to think that somehow someone thinks there's a story parallel to the idiocy that went on at JFK with JetBlue. Stuck on a plane for 10-20 hours without food or sufficient bathroom facilities. Reason? Well the best I can see is some schmuck had the planes taxi out to the tarmac without any likelihood they would take off before parts of the plane began to freeze up. It's not as though we've never had cold weather before.

So it was human error - those passengers paid money to get on a plane, and the airline was the only one with this problem. It wasn't the passenger's fault.

Go to Pennsylvania - this is first rate stupid. It's a dangerous travel situation to begin with - and they're blaming the state? If they drove during a tornado, would it still be the state's fault they didn't PREVENT them from doing an obviously stupid thing? I once drove through a hurricane - if my car had been turned over, I sure wouldn't have blamed the road officials.

But someone in the press wants to think officials are at fault.

Hey what's that highway in Tennesse that's always getting massive car crashes due to fog? Whose fault is fog, anyway?

Those were the same two quotes that had me laughing for minutes.

I wonder if someone passed out Stupid signs... :coffee:
They had a Katrina survivor on CNN this morning..

She was talking about how much the SNOW storm and getting her dumb ass stranded in a car was JUST like the HURRICANE..

Apparently she didn't make the connection of.. being so stupid to not only get caught in a hurricane by not evacuating, but going out in a blizzard and getting stuck.

Someone should shoot her and take us out of our misery!!

She undoubtedly has not established her pattern of bad luck... :coffee:

Her husband had no comment because he was out looking for supplies...
