Good for them.
Writers don't get paid enough IMO. THEY make the show what it is. What's a TV show if it has a crappy plot?
These people should be getting paid 6 or 7 digit figures for the work they do.

Whats a TV show with a crappy plot.??? Just what we have now. What they have always been. IMO they get paid too much.
I guess thats what opinions are for.

There's plenty of good television out there.

I miss the good ole TV days. The family sitcoms. Now everything is so reality based. House, Boston Legal, CSI. etc. I like all of these shows but I wish there were shows on like there were when I was a kid for my kids. The cartoons even suck. My son is 5 and he doesn't know much about the Jetsons, Flintstones, Woody Wood Pecker, Etc. It is also hard to find stuff to watch with him at night. We used to be able to watch Full House, Family Matters, Home Improvement, etc. all as a family.
Not much on TV now that we can watch like that. It is all reality based crap.

You dont really think House is reality based do you. I mean for real, an addicted Doctor acting like House does couldnt even make it at St, Mary's Hospital.
The Law and Order shows, the writers just watch the news pick a case ,give it a liberal slant and go with it. CSI is so much crap, forensics are not near that good. I dont watch a lot of TV because of the bad writing. Leno and Letterman could get their jokes from most any forum in the country and they wouldnt have to pay for it either, I have even seen some good comedy forums. As a matter of fact thats probably where the comedy writers do get their stuff.

That'll never fly. Used to be one or two writers did the whole show and could legitimately say they were the heart and soul. Now it takes a team of 20 or more to write a sorry-azz sitcom. Kinda hard to say "I am the heart and soul but these other 19 or so have to be over-paid too."
