Only if the Patriots "D" could've sacked Eli instead of him slipping through their hands and making that pass, they'd be 18-0. Would've, could've, should've, but didn't... Not to mention that was an amazing catch.

oh well no history made tonight.

Lots of history was made.

A wildcard won the superbowl
Another Manning beat Brady 2 years in a row. Denying him another superbowl ring.
Will be ranked as one of the biggest upsets. Everyone is going to remember 18-1

18 and D'OH!

By the way, a wildcard has won a Super Bowl before last night, so that''s not historical.

Manning beat Brady last year in the SuperBowl?!

Everyone will remember the Patriots 18-1 season. Not many people will remember who beat them.

More people will remember the 18-1 Pats than they will remember the 16-0 Fins. Remember, its a what have you done lately society now :yay:

Did you see the comercial lastnight where the mail man stops at Mecury Morris's house and gives him a package. He opens it and in it the the Super Bowl 42 game ball and a note from Eli that says something like "you can pop that champagne now. Your welcome, Eli"

I thought that was funny as he!!:killingme
