Performance Truck Mufflers

OK folks, time to replace my 9 yr. old Flowmaster muffler.(50 Series). I was thinking of going for the 40 or 44 series this time. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Also, what about Dnyomax as an option. They claim to flow better than F.M. but do they have that deep, throaty sound? This will go on a '97 z71 350.

40 series aint bad. I've heard good things about Magnaflo from some truck websites I use to hang out at. But, i've never heard one in person.

I prefer a Flowmaster on most any american V8...no other muffler sounds right to me. Gibson makes a good cat back system, but Ive never heard one on a chevy.

Thanks for the input. I think a 44 series is going to be the ticket.
