A friend was rear ended last week and was injured. She isn't sure yet the extent (Dr's appointment this coming week) of her injuries. Can anyone recommend a good (local) attorney? The car was totalled and she is barely able to get around at the moment.
Why would she (or anyone) want to sign up to 'share' the insurance payout
before she is even certain of what it will be and whether or not it would be adequate??
I personally watched one of "those attorneys" literally consume, in fees, nearly half of the settlement a woman would have received all of otherwise, had she had no attorney.
Sorry. I just don't get it sometimes. I thought attorneys were what you hired when you think you've been badly treated ..
